OUR MISSION
The American Peace Officer Foundation (APOF.org) was founded in 2022 to provide supplemental law enforcement support in communities facing staffing shortages and budget constraints. Since then, our mission has expanded in response to requests from organizations seeking both manpower and financial assistance to support young individuals pursuing careers in law enforcement.
Through donations and grant funding, APOF provides essential equipment, including life-saving ballistic vests to active-duty peace officers and cadets enrolled in certified peace and police officer academies.
We are extending our scholarship program to include financial support for:
1. Children and family members of current or retired first responders
2. High school graduates entering law enforcement or related fields
3. College students continuing their education in criminal justice or public safety
Applicants are reviewed with consideration for their demonstrated commitment to community service, participation in school athletics or clubs, and interest in first responder careers, as well as academic performance.
